Lovely hotel in a lovely location!

We had a brief stay for our anniversary last year and hope to return this year. Our room wasn't huge, but as we were out sightseeing all day it didn't matter. Simply furnished but lovely and clean and no problems with hot water or plumbing. Staff were lovely, very polite and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was superb (certainly set you up for the day) and served in a nice, cosy dining room, so you didn't feel out of place. We took a bus from the airport, no one seemed to mind suitcases all over the place, and our first impressions of Piaza Feretto were of delight. Be warned though the shops surrounding the square are mostly shoes and fashion wear but also plenty of little bars and icecream. We thouroughly enjoyed many spritz late afternoons after sightseeing in Venice. Not very touristy, it was great watching the local people meeting up with their families and friends. All in all a lovely hotel in a lovely location.
