Turned out to be disappointed!

I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel but I turned out to be disappointed. The hotel is classed as a 4 star but it is more of a 3 star hotel. The outside of the hotel and the entrance & dining area are very grand and ornate. However, it is the bedroom itself which was disappointing. I had sent an email requesting a fourth floor room, newly renovated with the cream decor (as I had seen in some pictures) and with a nice view. When I arrived I had a fourth floor room with decor which was very busy, I would not have minded Venentian style decor but the room was so small that it could not take the stripey wallpaper. The room is very basic, the TV channels are limited, the temperature in the room was difficult to control, the room got hot extremely quickly even with the window open, this is probably due to the small size of the room and the poor ventilation in the bathroom.
