Visiting the Islands If you want to see Murano and Burano then make sure you plan your trip to cover a weekday as its pretty much closed on a weekend. And if you go for a city break then its worth getting a 3 day travelpass which allows you to get to the islands on the vaperettos cheaply. May even be worth organising the tour before leaving...not sure of the costs involved....
