We booked a room in October 2008 for a four night stay at Ca' Amadi in the first week in December 2008. Credit card detail was asked to secure the booking. Our bank contacted us the same day to inform us that an international transaction went through from the above hotel. Enquiring about the reason for this, Ca' Amadi responded that it was a decision from new management, although the website states that the amount will be charged on departure - be aware that this can happen to you as well (6 weeks prior to arrival)! The room was OK, but the toilet leaked, the hair drier air pipe was broken and the bedroom light was broken. There are building restorations in the courtyard which makes it all, but romantic!
