Little Gem for Budget trippers!

What a beautiful little hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt looked after, and looked after well. The staff were a real credit to the hotel, both polite and friendly, they informed us of all details we would of asked for, such as local transport etc on arrival. We were greeted with smiles everyday of our stay and they also mapped out the time we needed to get the connecting water-bus to the airport, saving us from stress! The room was a twin over a double, as we had not stated we required a double-bed. We're not hugely the type to fuss, and just used this as a lesson learnt for next time - make sure you state what you want, otherwise you may not get it. Regardless of the twin beds, the room was clean and well decorated. Though the toilet was slightly pokey, it had everything we needed! The Restaurant didn't quite live up to the expectations, though it did live up to the cost. We found the second nights stay that further down the Lido offered a few better priced Pizzaria's, and after a day in Venice, a cheaper meal is most welcome on a budget! In fact, the Lido was a great location, peaceful and non-touristy (note we travelled in Feb though!). The one downside to our entire hotel experience was other customers, a number of rooms on our floor (room 501) were occupied by students, who ran around the corridors slamming doors until the late hour. However, we left the hotel happy and with no regrets as to our choice. It's a lovely, well kept hotel, with perfect staff and a good location to day-trip into Venice (10 mins on water-bus) Highly recommend, and we would book again here if we return to Venice!
