Brilliant hotel if you want a quiet, spotlessly clean, friendly family-run B&B in a brilliant position close to Rialto Bridge and water bus stop on the Grand Canal. Decor is heavy classical Italian which adds to the experience of staying in Venice; no bland chain hotel style here. We stayed in March 2005 and would happily go back. Mountain-goat genes an advantage to tackle steep stairs to reception after a day's city walking!
