Clean, view of piazza, great staff
The room's window opened onto a beautiful piazza. You could sit perched up there and people watch all day long if you wanted to. The room was very clean and the front desk service was excellent. Family owned and operated by local Venetians, the atmosphere was homey and pleasant. The front desk was especially friendly and hospitable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, clean and practical hotel room.

Lovely Host
My husband and travelling companion and I found Mr Gobbo to be a very gracious host, offering us our first drink in Venice and my husband and friend had their first cigarette, courtesy of Mr Gobbo. The room was near perfect, with windows opening up to give us a view of a plaza and not far from the train station. The only draw back was that the shower could have been a little bigger, but breakfast was included and overall we had a terrific stay, it was in a wonderful location and excellent value.
