Free parking There are a number of free parking areas along the eastern side of town along Via dei Morti. White parking lines are free, blue parking lines are paid parking at the meter.

History lives The Ducal palace, the churches, and the museums are the starting points for visits to Urbino. The essence of the city, however, is the feel of a Renaissance court: the architecture, the walled city, the hidden nooks and crannies, the views over the countryside--all combine to make this UNESCO World Heritage site a welcome contrast to the crowded hurried pace of Rome and Florence.
