I was astonished when I check in to see how poor the condition of the hotel was.
- Decoration of the room had not been redone for 30 years
- Faucet leaking and suspicious toilets in the bathroom
- Light bulbs flickering
- Problem with the heating system (impossible to take the room temperature below 28 degrees Celsius despite all efforts)
- Extremely noisy

It was extremely disappointing. Two suggestions if you go to Turin, you can try two things:
* If you want a good hotel, try the Meridien Art & Tech. It is a bit expensive, but really excellent and beautiful
* if you want something cheap, go for the Holiday Inn next door to the Turin Palace. It bears a less pretentious name than the Turin Palace, but it is actually far better.
