Museums and History are Wonderful Get a Trento- card from the Tourist Information office and use it to see the museums, rent a bike and go on guided tours. Take the cable car up the mountain for an awesome view of the valley and the surrounding mountains.l

Historical centre It is an eye opener to see so much history in one place. Trento was a most important centre of Europe in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance period with plenty buildings as a testimony.

Orso Grigio Restaurant Orso Grigio (Grey Bear) is not far from the Duomo and the main Piazza. It has a lovely ambiance - in summer you can dine out under a huge canopy and there is also a large indoor space. The food is outstanding, the service efficient and friendly and, if you chat to the owner, he brings bottles of grappa and limoncello for you to help yourself to. And it is not expensive. This is one of the best restaurants I have dined at. Highly recommended.
