My wife and myself have recently returned from the above hotel. My wife is coeliac and the hotel catered for this very well, considering the staple diet in Italy is pasta(gluten-free in her case). A car is a necessity for this hotel, as the track up to the main road and buses is very steep. We both suffer with knee problems, but we managed to get around. Taxis are expensive, as we found when transferring from Verona (285 euros for round trip)but was worth it because the price of a three star hotel on the lake and near the airport was 300 euros more. Staff were very pleasant, but room, whilst very nice was quite a way from the amenities. We had a very nice peaceful and relaxing week.
