Our recent stay at Villa Schuler was terrific. From the first moment the staff members were outstanding; always smiling and helpful even when obviously busy.
Our accommodations were just right with a breathtaking view of the sea and Mt.Etna and without the noise that gave us some concern. We were close to everything but far enough away to sense the peace and beauty of the area. Breakfast on the terrace each day was a very pleasant treat. We would return without hesitation.

This is really a fabulous hotel. The price is good, the location is perfect, the rooms are clean and very modern, sadly there is no restaurant, staff is very friendly and services are excellent.

Villa Shuler is a family-run hotel with the most exceptional service we've encountered. Even exceeding some very expensive places where we've stayed; as a result we extended our stay in Taormina. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean and the baths are well appointed. The rooms have small balconies with spectacular views over the sea and to Mt. Etna. The staff is very friendly and helpful with recommendations and information and speak English perfectly - among many other languages. A very nice breakfast with many selections is served on large terrace overlooking the sea, where we had cocktails after a day of touring. The hotel has a beautiful private garden. The evening before we left for an early tour of Mt. Etna, they arranged for a proper breakfast to be served to us at 6 am. On our last day, after checking out, we left our bags and car and spent the day at the beach. When we returned to gather our bags, we were offered a special bathroom where we could shower and......

What a memorable place! Gerhard Schuler and his staff welcomed my family and me to the Villa Schuler in June 2007. Gerhard was a wonderful host and we are indebted to him, not only for the particularly special stay at his gracious and comfortable hotel, but also for assisting us with a travel travesty.
The Villa Schuler is in a prime location near the center of Taormina, a short walk to shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. The hotel receptionists kindly recommend dining options and day itineraries. All rooms are spotless and spacious with gorgeous views and overlooks. The double superior sea view room afforded grand vistas of the sea on one side and Mt Etna on the other. It was large and quite like a junior suite. The bathroom was perfect. The garden villa suite is set amidst lush greenery and colorful flowers and is quite luxurious. It has plenty of room to relax, sun bathe and spread out loads of luggage. Delicious breakfasts are set outdoors on the patio with a scenic......

A beautiful and familiar hotel with nice rooms, a wonderful view to Mount Etna, the sea, the greek-roman theatre and the ancient city of Taormina. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the individual breakfast every morning on the palm-tree terrace. The owner cares about everything and you can see it at hundreds of kind details.
