| Terrible!!! |

It was really the most terrible stay you can imagine! We really overpaid for the room en it was really dirty, smelly and sooooo old. Yes we had airco but that one came right from the seventies. If you're are seeking for a nice place to stay in taormina, don't take villa san michele! But Taormina itself is really beautiful! |

Well. In three words: don't go there. This place has not been fixed up since the seventies. The room was worn down, the light bulbs kept on going on and of by themselves, and the bathroom had a rather nasty smell. Even the spectacular view from the (dirty) balcony could not make up for the foul smell in the corridors and the huge mouldy spot on the bedroom wall. As if things were not bad enough already, the owner had lied to us about the price when we booked the room, so we ended up having to pay 20 euros more a night. Villa San Michele was by far the worst AND most expensive place we stayed at on our trip. |
