Grand Hotel Ambasciatori Sorrento

Myself & my boyfriend booked into this hotel for 4 nights and left on the the third day very tierd, unwell and almost 600euro poorer. The location of the hotel is ok for younger people but not for older people as it is abit of walk from Sorrento. The room was one of the worst I've stayed in the bedsheets, pillow and covers were completely damp and even though we complained to the staff nothing was done about this. Also we were kept awake as everytime the toilet in the room above us flushed you could hear it. The bed was really uncomfortable and the staff not that friendly and very accomadating. The brekfast was average and really for a 4 star hotel you would expect as they certainly like to water down the orange juices so they will go further! A bottle of beer cost 7euro! The only nice thing about this hotel was the view. We checked out on the third morning without as much as an apology from the hotel manager and with colds from the damp bed.
