My wife and I spent a week here. Desiree was connected with the hotel la tonnarella years ago, and is found down their driveway a little. It sits on the side of the cliff with a waterfall, and shares the same beach.
Ask for a room with a balcony. Nothing fancy, but a very nice place, with very friendly and helpful people. All speak English. They don't have a web site or email yet buy are working on it. I think rooms 6, 13, and 17 are the balconies. 17 being the highest. Gets just enough view of Vesuvius and the bay of Naples. You can go the la tonnarella for dinner if you like. Personally, we loved the garden, in town. A very brisk walk down and up the hill. But we had a great time in all. Only picture you can barely see in the beach seen on the la tonnarella web site. It is the white building at the very top of the picture. |
