We stayed here for our 40th wedding anniversary and we enjoyed everything about the hotel. The location was perfect, the staff were brill and really helped in every way they could. The food was really tasty and the relaxing atmosphere at the end of the day was just what we needed. Loads of fun with the waiters and bar staff. See you again soon. Thanks once again. This hotel was fantastic. We have stayed in the villa maria which is horrible. We found part of a cigarette in our ravioli and the flora was just as bad. When we found this hotel it was a relief to find a good hotel in sorrento. The food was perfect and the waiters were polite and kind and always smiling. The rooms are posh and beautiful and the bathroom had a shower a bath and two sinks! The pool is huge and refreshing after a long day. we are going again this year in may, the area is great and we wouldnt go anywhere else on holiday. If any italians are reading this we would like to say hi to enza, antonio (waiter) alda, aunty anna, luigi (ex-waiter now butcher) salvatoré, franko, terasa, gitano and more.
anyone reading this go to the dolio inn near davids ice-cream parlor and we also recomend that ice-cream parlor! and also visit the english inn and the chaplins bar who have brilliant staff !!!

Had an exceptionally wonderful time at Hotel Continental last October. First time in Italy. Have booked 2 more holidays in May and October this year at same hotel. Food wonderful. Staff all helpful, courteous and always smiling. Lovely position in Sorrento. Can't wait to get back.

Top Local Tips for Sorrento

Local Buses You cannot purchase tickets on the actual buses,these have to be purchased either from a kiosk or shop near by.

Capri A must see island try and get an early ferry as it can become crowded during the day.

Capri It is easy and probaly cheaper to organise your own trip to Capri rather than go an a guided tour.
