Getting There Acar is a liability, so use public transport. there are regular ferries from other places on the lake and a bus service from Verona.

Avoid public transportation Do not attempt to walk from the bus stop to the other end of the town. we did so and almost collapsed from the heat, the narrow and crowded streets, and the hilly topography. better off to take a car or taxi.

Good service & food We ate in a number of restaurants. My two favourites were called Al Pestori and Roccia (Spelling??). They are next door to each other and located one street back from the main street. They were two of the best we ate in. The toilets in Al Pestori are very clean, which is something you don't always find!
