Most favorite hotel ever at great price

This is a very friendly, elegant and luxurious hotel in a restored castle right in the heart of one of the best wine districts in the world. The castle itself is stunning as are the grounds, gardens and pool. A group of friends and I stayed here and all of our rooms were equally gorgeous. The rooms were beautifully and tastefully decorated and extremely well appointed. The beds were huge by Italian standards and very comfortable with down comforters and lovely damask spreads and pillows. The bathrooms were fantastic and my husband for once did not complain about the shower and water pressure! The towels, sheets and products were out of this world. The best part was that the owners and staff are friendly, gracious, knowledgeable and generous in every way. They really have the details down right and were the perfect hosts. You can tell they love their jobs and the area. Lastly, the hotel has an excellent restaurant with some of the finest and lightest local cuisine we ate while there. The wine list is quite extensive and well chosen and prices for both the food and wine were very reasonable for such high quality. Overall, we had an extraordinary experience that I just had to tell everyone about!
