parking Park at the stadium call the hotel and have a taxi sent, parking is normally free although cars must be moved on match days. Alternatives can cost atleast 30 euros per day

Best way to arrive in Siena Traveling up from Rome, we had originally intended to take the train, but found that there were no direct cionnections. However, the bus (SENA lines, from Rome's bus terminal) offered a direct trip in a very comfortable, large bus that took us right up to Siena's historic (AKA medieval, non-auto friendly, confusing) central district. From the drop-off point it was a short walk across a piazza to the Banchi di Sopra, the street on which our hotel was located.

Easiest way to reach Siena is from Florence. The blue coloured Sita bus has frequent departures from Florence, take the Rapide service which is only 75 minutes.
