Top Local Tips for Taormina

Good cheap restaurants If your staying in Taormina town two good restaurants are the Tiramisu (via Capucinni) and Trocadero ( corner of Corsa Umberto) both serve very nice food at a reasonable price. And have very nice staff

Bus service is good! Don't get a taxi from the airport at a cost of 70euros, there are hourly buses which cost 5euros and take 1-2 hours to get the the hotel depending on the traffic - these are air conditioned and spacious, and drop you in Taormina bus station, where you can walk to the hotel or get a taxi for 10 euros.

Do it Slow Do the sunset trip at mount Etna and the boat tour of the Aeolean Islands......then eat...I suggest...UmBosso...the best resturant.........
