Great service, warm, chic style

Balance quality/price is correct, location is fantastic,rooms - comfortable,nice and prestigous, and gourgeous. The restaurant is very old style, chic and bar is marvellous. New spa area is very relaxing.

Top Local Tips for Sestriere

If you eat out Try the restaurant attached to the bar on the main square - can't remember the name but it was excellent. It began with a "B"!

SECURITY WARNING: SKIING/BOARDING IN MONTGENEVE (PART OF MILKY WAY) My skis were pinched from the piste, mid morning during the week (Jan 09). We left 5 sets of skis on the piste by the children's play area and walked onto the main street for a coffee. We were gone approx 30 minutes and returned to find my skis & poles missing! We all split up to look for them and very, very luckily they were discovered behind a book case in an open fronted building off-the piste (obviously stashed for pick up later) - I was very close to having to pay for a taxi home and then to reimburse the hire company (as insurance doesn't cover 'abandoned skis'). I'd hate the same to happen to anyone else - so please be careful if skiing/boarding in this area.
