It was an unforgettable experience. We stayed for 5 nights.
The people were very friendly. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. I would love to go again.

The grounds and outside were beautiful. Could not be improved on. The interior rooms were too small for travellers with big luggage--the bathrooms were inadequate. Renovations to get the interior to represent the luxury of the outside would be great.

Top Local Tips for Santa Margherita Ligure

Arriving at train station and the Santa Marguerita area When you arrive at train station, look up to your left for hotel...we headed down into town with our luggage, only to double our trip back up to the hotel. Try eating off the main foreshore..better restaurants tucked away out back. The walk to Portifino is fabulous...only 40 mins...or a 2 euro bus fair....definately stay in Santa Marguerita rather tha the pricey, and very small town of Portifino...

Great weather in May!!!!!! Go in May---pleasant summertime weather without the crowds!!!!
