Brilliant holiday!
My husband and I enjoyed an excellent one week's stay with our teenage son. Both the double and single rooms had a balcony at no extra charge, and were very clean and comfortable. There was a mini-bar in the bedroom which our son plundered - this was a little pricey. The air-conditioning was adjustable and the room was very cool despite temperatures of 98 degrees farenheit! The views from the room of Vesuvius were breathtaking. The public rooms and the pool area were pleasant and well maintained. The buffet breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The dinner menu was good but a little expensive. However, there were a number of good restaurants in the area. The best of these was Crawford's at the top of the street on which the hotel is located. We dined there several times. The staff were all extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. I would very much like to visit this hotel again.
