Good location for walking to the sights
After a great deal of research, we settled on the Hotel White for our Silver Wedding Anniversary treat. The staff are courteous, friendly and very helpful.We were upgraded to a suite with a mezz bedroom. The bed linen was changed daily even though not necessary.There were also nice soft towels in the bathroom, again changed daily. The location is ideal for walking to all the major sights. The Trevi Fountain REALLY IS 100 mtrs away down the small cobbled street with loads of restaurants/bars. Nearly all those in the locale do a 3-4 course tourist menu from 13 Euros upwards without drinks. Check out the Chinese up the street opposite the Fountain for 7.80 Euros for a four course meal (price in February 2006)served in the evening also. There is a deli just down from the Fountain to buy freshly made rolls, fruit and drinks for your packed lunches.
