Very pleasant and helpful staff. The location of the hotel was a little far from the main attractions, especially if travelling with children. The bedrooms were comfortable but small and very basic. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was of a very high standard. Unfortunately the chef was on holiday so eating out paricuarly in the areas of the vatican proved to be very costly.

This is the first hotel review for me to write so you can imagine that I am a satisfied customer (or still affected by sunstroke). The hotel is great - spacious cosy rooms with baths, TVs and even mosquito nets over the windows, extremely nice staff, great surroundings (a garden in which you can relax in the shade, a big parking lot). The only potential problem is its distance to the city center - you need to take two buses to get there. But there is a bus station practically right in front of the hotel and the buses arrive frequently. I for one will visit this hotel whenever I visit Rome again.

Top Local Tips for Rome
Transport Get a coach ticket at the airport just outside arrivalsn it is inexpensive. You book your return coach journey - just tell them the time of the flight. The coach takes you to the main Termini station where you can get a bus, train or cab but watch out for illegal cabbies! they tried to lure us in but as I had read up on Trip Advisor I knew roughly how much it should be so managed to avoid them.
