stefano Constantini (i think it's romecabs...) great service and value for money! it saved me all the worry of getting an unofficial taxi and being ripped off! and i got a free bottle of red wine! yea!

Sistene Chapel Go with a tour group; lines/waits for indiviual entry are a nightmare.

Getting around Make use of open top bus tours for getting around tourist sites as tickets can be valid for 24 - 48 hours and you can hop on and off at the locations you want to visit or you can just relax and take in the views. Do not use mini cabs, use the registered taxi cabs only as they are cheaper and use meters where you can monitor the cost. When we arrived at Termini a man tried to direct us out of a side exit to his private cars but you just go to the official Exit and the taxis are parked at the front. Don't worry about the long queues as they go down very quickly so you are not waiting too long. If you are going to the visit the Vatican check for whether visits are allowed as sometimes it may be closed to visitors who have not made prior arrangements due to religious days and visits from Heads of States.
