Christian Rome Bus Tour We bought a 48 hour ticket for this for 20 euros and found it excellent value for money and the guides on the bus were all very friendly and helpful.

Metro for president Dont be affraid to use the Metro system,its easy to navigate even in a foreign language, its very cheap approximately 11 euros for a 3 day unlimited use ticket and can get you all around Rome even to the Vatican City.
