Fantastic Rome
Room was clean and a good size. Food & drink expensive in Hotel so eat out! Loads of places within 5 minute walk. Great location for Vatican & St Peters & make sure you go to the top of the dome, its awesome. Get a Roma Pass for 20 Euro and travel for free on the public transport plus free and discounted entry to loads of places. Take the 64 bus from the corner to Piazza Venezia and you can walk to most places from there if don't like bus hopping. Book guided tours to jump the long line its worth it.

Great hotel and location
Hotel was excellent in all categories. Rooms were exceptionally clean and very large by Rome standards. Location next door to the Vatican and many eateries close by. Staff was extremely helpful to all our requests for assistance (especially with lost luggage!). Guisseppe was a life-saver. Will stay at this hotel again many times over without hesitation.

Would stay here again
Starhotel was in a great location close to the Vatican. Room was a good size, clean and bright. Staff were helpful and courteous for the most part. The breakfast buffet was very good and offered a wide variety of choices. Would recommend this hotel and would definately stay here agin!

Good Location
We stayed at the Michelangelo for 3 nights. The location is great, walking distance to St Peter's. The price was reasonable for Rome. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We did not try the resturant, since it seemed high priced, but there were places to eat nearby. The room was a nice size and if you stretched your neck out the window you see the dome of St Peter's. Highly recommend this hotel.
