Don't know where to start, this hotel is awful. Small rooms, we can deal with, but not small, dirty, dangerous, unfinished, unsecure rooms that you can barely open the door to enter. We knew we had blundered when we were advised not to walk around the surrounding streets after dark by the agency taxi driver who brought us from the airport. Light sockets and plug points were hanging out of the walls, with an earth wire clearly visible. The television was broken, the lightshade consisted of two paper napkins on a bare bulb - fire hazard! and the glass shelf above the filthy sink was hanging out of the wall. The door barely opened enough for a person to enter, let alone a person with a suitcase and was in a state of disrepair. This was a third floor room. The first floor rooms seemed to be completely different, with new doors and more secure-looking locks. In fact, the first floor just looked cleaner in general - this is clearly the pictures they use in brochures and web advertising. Another thing we noted, when we arrived at 1130pm, was that the breakfast pastries and cereal appeared to have been left out, uncovered for the next day. The night porter we complained to about the room (within 5 minutes of checking in), was completely unfazed by our comments - clearly not the first time this has happened to him. Unsurprisingly, we checked out the next morning - without eating the breakfast. Please take heed folks, DO NOT risk ruining your holiday by staying here. After this brief glitch, we had an amazing time in a wonderful city.

My boyfriend and i stayed in this hotel on the 8-10 May 2005. I booked this hotel via Booking. It for 101 euro so i was very pleased as hotels in Rome are very expensive. The next day i received an email from the manager informing me there was a error, it was 100 euro per night!! However, the manager was very nice and accepted 130 euro instead. We arrived in Rome and was unable to find the hotel because it was down a slope in an alley!! Go into station and follow arrows to Cavour, 7th or 8th alley on the right. We were given a double room at first then the hotel asked us to change into a single room with double bed and was told we were going to be moved again in the morning!! So in the evening, we packed and expected to moved rooms again but didn't and wasn't told!! We weren't given enough towels and they were were not changed each day. As we were checking out, we were accused of drinking water from the room mini fridge (1 euro per bottle). And as i tried to explain we did not drink anything because we bought our own drinks and snacks from the supermarket he just rolled his eyes and kept saying "YES YOU DID". On a good note, the hotel was clean and about 25 mins walk to centre and nice cafe next door. The manager was nice!! So thank you!!
