This hotel is great for the price, very clean, friendly and perfect location, near the station, but still a good distance from the dodgy area! Yes the rooms are small, but if you plan to be out most of the time, it is a perfect base. I would also agree with the other reviews about the noise, I thought someone was coming into my room on the first night..but i think it was someone in the bathroom next door..earplugs if you are a light sleeper,but this is the only down side..breakfast was adequate and again good for the price..

I found a last minute deal here for 60 Euros in the peak season, which was a really great deal.

The place is right near two beautiful churches, in walking distance from Termini (5 minutes) and the historic center (10 minutes or so to the Colluseum, 20 minutes to the pantheon). There are restaurants and cafes on the block, and the place is just around the corner from all the restaurants near Termini and on Via Cavour.

The rooms are seriously tiny, but have their own bathrooms. They are also air-conditioned. Our television didn't work, but if we had been staying for more then one night I'm sure it would have been fixed.

We were there on a sunday, and they were understaffed (and hence couldn't fix our tv). The front desk guy was very nice though, and they gave us a wake up call.

Do not stay at this hotel if you value your sleep! Walls and ceilings are paper thin and you can hear everything in the other rooms around you, even your neighbours brushing their teeth! Ear plugs are a must, especially with people returning to the hotel in the middle of the night! Room was extremely small but was clean and had everything we wanted. The location was great and the staff very friendly. If you take ear plugs and don't mind small accommodation then this is fine. Rome is a wonderful city!

Top Local Tips for Rome

Going to FCO airport If you are planning on taking the late night buses from Termini to FCO make sure you scream and wave at the bus as it drive by the un-signed stop. We waited for the bus at 3:45am, it came by at 4, and simply DROVE BY with us staring straight in the eye of the driver, and he did not turn back and left us taking the taxi.

colosseum beware when visiting this, as outside you have men dressed in gladiator style costumes willing to take your photo with your own camera, they then charge you 10 euros, so dont be fooled into it.

Try not to buy from the first thing you come across Wait a little bit and sheck out the places for both food and items. Most likely you will find a place with better items and cheaper foods. Try to locate a super market to buy any snack and beverages. hit up the shops throughout town and unless you want a certain post card dont buy them from the main attractions. You can get them mega cheap at tourist shops.
