Be carfeul at the mouth of the river This is very important because people do not seem to realize that the place where the ogunquit river mouth and the atlantic meet can be very dangerous. When going into high tide in the late afternoon the waves here become very huge and attract many tourists. The current can sweep you right off your feet and drag you into the atlantic which makes it very hard to swim back. There are lifeguards there and we did get to see them in action but fortunately no one was hurt.Im just writing this for safety precaution at the ogunquit public beach
