Even though at first I thought I was walking into a standard hotel, I was suprised at beauty of the hotel. I was left alone painting in my room, with a manner of relaxation. the staff were great and did not bother me while i painted my codes. I loved this hotel, I painted it and gave it to the owner, he said I could stay for free!!! Thankyou

Top Local Tips for Rome

travel pass buy a travel pass. a 3 day pass will let you get on any bus, tram or metro line as often as you want and it only costs 11 Euro's. excellent value for money

taxis use only the offical white licenced cabs when travelling in a cab. the hotel will hire a private one for you on request of a taxi costs an extra 5 euros but hey we got tothe airport in style.

beware thieves on the Metro Wear a money belt or otherwise secure your valuables. I was robbed at 6 pm on the Spanish Steps Metro by two guys who wedged me between them
