The accommodation is basic but very clean with ensuite rooms. The location is the best bit of this hotel as it's halfway between the Vatican and the Collosseum. We walked everywhere from here. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very cheap for the location it's in. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who won't be spending a lot of time in their hotel and don't want to spend too much on accommodation. I'll stay there again.

Eating Make sure you eat at a small resturant in the same street as the Pomezia - it does not have a menu you just get served food and drink - amazing

What to eat now? If your looking for good food, friendly locals, nightlife nice shopping and clean streets, DO NOT COME TO ROME. You will be bitterly dissapointed.

Travel tips in Rome Be wary of pickpockets, especially at the train station. Also ask how much taxi fare costs at the travel info area of the train station so you don't get cheated. There is also an express bus #40 that runs between the train station with stops on the Via Vittorio Emanuele near the Campo dei Fiori.
