Terrible
The tiny room was dirty.
The toilet really small.
TV and airconditioning didn't work
Far from town: tube was too crowded and had to wait for 20 min.
Breakfast poor and cold.
Staff was not able to tella us anything useful.
Internet point was as small as a shower stall.

Will likely stay there again
We stayed at the Polo 8 days during the Christmas holidays. The hotel was clean, the maid service, excellent, and the staff, friendly. However, our room was rather small, even by European standards. The breakfast buffet was very good, but we don’t recommend the restaurant for dinner. Service was slow, and the food, barely warm. One cook plus one server is a formula for inefficient service. There is a supermarket 150 meters from the hotel, and several small food shops nearby.
We REALLY enjoyed the restaurant around the corner, next to the movie theater. The waiters were very helpful and friendly, and the proprietor checked on us regularly to see how we enjoyed the meal. They also brought us extras, such as champagne aperitifs, appetizers, and desserts. The filet was heavenly, the salads, delicious, and the oven-baked potatoes, superb. All the servers were good; the waiter, “Carmine” was great: Angelico Ristorante; Via L. Luciani, 52.
