Very small hotel. Breakfast not great but hotel very clean. Lots of noise at night as it is just beside the railway station. Nothing major wrong but would stay more into the city next time.

Date: April 2005 - Please trust me, never go there. This place is definitely ugly and not clean at all. People working there are not really friendly and this is a noisy place.
The breakfast (you have to call at least twice the reception to obtain it) is served in your room. This consists of a simple cup of bad coffee with a single small piece of bread with jam and butter. Nothing else. Rooms are small and beds are very small. What a big fun to sleep with feet out of bed! Prices are really high for a so poor quality service. The location close to main railway station is not too bad, but this is not a reason to treat tourists so badly. I suggest to avoid all ** hotels close to railway station. They all look the same. Otherwise Rome is a really beautiful city and I enjoyed my stay in Rome... excepted in this hotel (one of the worst I have visited: congratulations !))

Hotels in Rome There are other better hotels in the area so try one of those. Although the room was clean it was too noisy to sleep there, we were near the hotel reception so heard all telephone calls and people coming in the door at all hours. Plus they should have a breakfast room here and not expect people to go across to another bar for a paltry 1 coffee and pastry for their start to a day in the huge city of Rome, doesn't exactly set you up for the day. We found a cafe around the corner which was reasonable

I highly recommend the modest expense of this because it will help you manage your time and control your travel budget. Italy tends to be warm in the summer, and the last thing you want to do is spend your valuable time standing in long lines for entrance tickets. Pre-booking a guided tour allows you to skip most of the lines and maximize your sightseeing and memory-making time.
