Good connection to city

The entrance hall of the hotel and the breakfast were quite ok. The rooms were rather large, but the furniture of the rooms was definitely not appropriate for four stars. During our stay, the furniture was removed in other rooms and assumingly new was installed. The bar men were a little bit strange sometimes. We ordered something and got the reply 'it is out', but 5 minutes later other guests will get it ... The bus connection to the city was really good, only 10 minutes to St.Peter. The connection to the airport was more complicated, because 500 meters in between the metro and the bus have to be done on foot. Totally it was about 1 hour to the airport. On the last day we ordered a taxi to the airport at the reception. But no normal taxi was appering, but some guy with an enormous price, about 80 EUR. This was not pleasent at all. The reception did not warn us about total closing of the airport because of the EU summit, even when we were ordering a taxi to the airport.

Not good, not good at all

Staff were unfriendly, rude and arrogant. The restaurant was appalling and a rip off. The rooms were tired, sad looking, the walls are grubby and the carpets scruffy. The photos of this hotel flatter to deceive, its a poor 2 star at best in my opinion. The a/c in the first room they tried to put us into sounded like a lawn mower and the bathroom was smelly. A sort of stale sewagey pong wafted out when I first turned the nobs of the bath on. The one redeeming factor was the breakfast, which was good, but I'd never stay at this place again. Not good, this is not a good hotel at all.
