What a situation! A 4 star (?!) hotel, in a "park" (just a few trees...). Small room, awful room decoration, far away from Rome's center (7 stations by bus from the nearest metro station...). Stay away!!!

The worst hotel I've ever stayed!!!

Far, far away from the centre of Rome. Far away from Vatican (Cipro Metro Station). 10 min. walk from the hotel to the bus station to get the 907 bus which goes to Cipro. 1 1/2 hour to go to centre! Very small, tiny rooms, NO park near the hotel. Awful place!

Top Local Tips for Rome

Restaurants There is an Italian restaurant nearby the hotel slightly down the slope on the left=hand side with a white/cream canopy, we wouldn't recommend this restaurant (sorry I don't know the name), but it was expensive and the meals were basic. There is a bar/snack bar on the opposite side of the road further down and they make you feel very welcome in here. They serve you lots of nibbles/snacks with your drinks, it is a pleasant evening with them.

Double Check Bill i would recommend you double check your bill in the resteraunts and service charge is not included

A good walking tour group We found a great walking tour group. Angel Tours Rome (www.angeltours.com). On arrivel at lunchtime in Rome all we had to do was go and find the Angel unbrelle and join the tour, no booking. The Vatican had a 3 hour queue but the angle did all the queing and we met when she was near the top of the queue (we keep in contact by mobil). As the Vatican was so busy she gave us a discount. It had been closed the day before for the Feast of St Peter & Paul. As a guide she was most informitive and had a fund of fasanating information.
