BEWARE! The hotel brochure is not 100% accurate. Our beds were clean and the breakfast was not bad but the location was misrepresented. I believe in English, the terms next to, close to, near to, approximate with < 1 km, < 2 km, < 3 km. This hotel is not near to the Colosseum, unless you drive a fast Italian sports car along deserted roads in the middle of the night. It is 4 Metro stops away, followed by a bus journey of at least a dozen stops. Knowing our return to the hotel would be after midnight (when the bus service has finished) we enquired whether a limited night service ran. We were told by the management "No but the walk from Marconi Metro station is only 1 km" Therefore we chose not to search for a taxi and walked directly to the hotel taking over an hour!!! To add insult we were passed by two night buses - obviously an efficient every 30 minute service with a stop at the hotel entrance.
