Good value for a 2 star hotel

Front door security was very good, reception on the second floor, our room was on the third floor. Room was very clean as was the bedding and the furniture of quite good quality. The bathroom was excellent and looked brand new with non stop hot water , maid service every day. Breakfast was adequate and fresh and the coffee was very good. Very well situated within walking distance of all the major sights in Rome. Not the Ritz, but then we didn't pay Ritz prices, much better that we thought it would be, would book in there again and the staff were very friendly as was everyone we met in Rome, what a wonderful city!!!!

This hotels has as many pros as cons. The reception is on the 2nd floor, our room on the 5th - no use of lift unless accompanied by the manager. Our room was clean but very basic. We were given a double bed (I was sharing with my mother - No twin as asked for). The staff were very friendly. The walls are paper thin and we had to buy ear plugs in order to sleep because of the noise from the next room - A group of rowdy Loud teenagers!! A Great Location, minutes from the Metro/Train station, Colosseum and most other places of interest. The local area is somewhat dirty and rundown but we had no hassel. My mother and I wondered around til late feeling perfectly safe. Breakfast was adequate and Served until 10am. Lovely bathroom with constant hot water.
