this is a rubbish hotel it was 40 degrees at night and the air conditionsing wasnt working , not only this the third and fourt bed both broke. dont be fooled by the entrance hall upstairs the room are shocking. some of my fellow friends put valuable in the electric safe and it never opened and they waited 3 days till a member of staff got a key to open it. the food. Oh dont get me started . every day they had 5cm x 5cm toasted hard bread and some sort of toxic drink never go to this hotel it is a disgrace .

I went with my school for a weeks trip to Rome and I fairly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I found that the beds were comfy and the rooms were well attended to, breakfast was simple but otherwise nice and we were within a good walking distance of transport and the sights. On the other hand, the hotel was lacking in terms of certain key factors. Although the bathroom was well fitted and the water clean, there were no shower curtains in our room which often meant myself and my roommate having to wipe down surfaces and tread in puddles after one of us used the shower. The view could definitely have been improved as well (ours was of the hotel rubbish dump, other rooms had simply a blank wall) and the rooms were quite cramped. However, despite this, I still enjoyed my stay in Rome and I would like to thank the staff for giving me a pretty good first experience of the city.

well i'm amaized when i read these reviews here. i was staying at Noto in January with my school. first of all, we weren't 'cramped' in a two bedroom room with 2 camp beds - we had very nice room that was meant for two and me and my best friend (only two of us) occupied it. the shower curtain really was aproblem but not a big deal. we had a nice view of the street with hot italian guys there:) and the temperature in the room was perfect. nothing was stolen from us or went missing. everything was kept clean and breakfast was not so bad as some say - just an ordinary one. and the stuff was friendly - the receptionist was nice always greeting us and once me and my friend even had wine with the two reception guys! so come on - it was not so bad - actually it's nice and the location's fantastic we only used the metro once!

I have just returned from a school trip to Rome, the first two nights we stayed at this hotel. The food was disgusting, the rooms small and a warning to all travellers - DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR ROOM - THE STAFF STEAL !! I only had 20 euros budget per day and I left the second days 20 euros in my bag locked in my room (because I had been told there were lots of pickpockets around) - the maid was the only one to enter my room (we were out all day) and my money was stolen. So I will never return to this hotel either within a school group or as an adult !

This hotel was really nice, it was always clean and was in a great location. Great for school trips as it is safe and near to shops and cafes and the station. Would go back!

I stayed at the Hotel Noto with my classics group of 45 and I wasn't expecting much after I had read all these reviews. When we got there the lobby was surprisingly nice and the staff seemed rather helpful. When we got to our rooms, the 3 other girls and I fell about laughing because of how small it was- 4 beds in a 2 bed room. Where was the shower curtain? Breakfast was rather blah, never met the housekeepers and had no problems with them. It was the perfect hotel if on a sightseeing trip.

we stayed here in hotel noto for a period of 4 days with our school. before going we read reviews on this website and were dreading the thought of staying in this accomodation. the bathroom was really small, and the shower was in the bath and it had no shower curtain so every time we had a shower the bathroom flooded like a swimming pool. ther ws 2 sturdy beds and 2 unstable camp beds in our room and it was very cold at night time. the walls were very thin n we could hear everything goin on in the corridor or next room. the breakfast ws disgustin, the ham tasted off, the bread was stale and the pineapple juice tasted like piss. awful smell of soke in corridors and men in rome were very pervy.. overall bar this manky hotel our trip to rome was amazing and i would certainly go back again, but nt stay in this hotel.

I would say this is a great place in Rome if you are there to see other things. Ok, there is no "shower curtain" The better way to describe it is that over there the bathroom is one big room the shower, toilet, and sink are all one big room. You take a shower next to the toilet and sink. I know this sound gross, but if you really think about it, it is probably one of cleanest places you have ever taken a shower, or gone to the bathroom. Everything is cleaned, every time someone takes a shower. I would say even though it was akward and different it was definately a unique experience I would never trade away. Also, I will mention you can lock the door to have privacy, no one is able to walk in and see you naked. It is you and the bathroom appliances... BIG DEAL. Wear flip-flops, I did only because of insecurities. The outside wasn't horrible or unsafe. A girl I was there with was on our track team and had to consistantly run daily. In the evening we would look out the window and watch her (only for our insecurities as Americans), she ran around the block and came home safe every night. This is a great hotel if you truly want to soak up the culture of tight spaces with a different perspective. Breakfast was definately different than in American. If you like a great flavored roll, it is a great breakfast. I would reccomend this place to everyone who wants something they will remember forever.
