Fantastic location in the centro storico, on a traffic free piazza just around the corner from the Pantheon. Excellent, helpful professional staff. Good breakfast buffet.
Rooms vary in size and view. We have stayed three times and will again this November.
Every room has been very nice.

Top Local Tips for Rome

Pay attention to your restaurant bills We found that nearly all of the less expensive restaurants near the major tourist attactions overcharge. Pay attention to what you're ordering and how much it costs. Your bill is likely to be substantially higher. The waitress or waiter was always gratious about correcting it but watch out!

Hotel Pick a hotel near your attractions you want to see. It saves a lot of money on taxis, and saves time on trying to figure out the public transportation system.

Cistine chapel Be careful about queing on certain days (possibly Sundays but definately bank holidays). The length of the queue is deceiving and when they decide they are closing the doors, there is no consideration given to the people who may have been queing for 2-3 hours. I think there should be an indicator board somewhere along the line that beyond this point there may be a doubt about entry in time. Go early! We arrived 8.45pm and queued for over 3 hours.
