Very clean and modern

Stayed 3 nights. Clean, modern, huge bed. Some very good restaurants nearby, asked staff for recommendations. Unfortunately my husband had wallet stolen on local bus into centre, managed to get it back but be warned. Would use again.
Decent Hotel Lacks Charisma

The only fault is with the continental breakfast, which was very very basic. Very much a business mans hotel. Staff were helpful and everywhere was clean, towels changed daily, just lacked charsima.

Top Local Tips for Rome
Getting to Hotel Lloyd Forget taking a taxi if you don't have much luggage. Get your ticket from the newspaper shop in the train station. You can buy individual tickets (1€) or a daily ticket (8€).From Stazione Termini take bus 36 and get off at Porta Pia. Just cross to the left of the main street Via Nomentana and look for Via Alessandria. When you leave Rome, beware when you take the train to the airport- tickets vary in price depending where you buy them from- ticket booth- 9 €, ticket machine 11 € and from the man selling tickets by the tracks- 12 €. It seems that the train only has first class.
