The front desk never picks up the phone!

My husband stayed there and I had to get a hold of him, but no one answered the phone. I had been trying for 30 minutes. The hotel should have automated phone service that can transfer calls to guest rooms! The management should think about that. It was very very unprofessional! Terrible!

This hotel had a great location it was approx. 10 mins walk in either direction from all the sights including the Vatican. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the restraunt food was superb. definately recommended.

This is a well situated, clean and comfortable hotel. Love the neighborhood and nearby shopping, restaurants and walking.
We would and plan to stay at this hotel or one near the piazza cavour in the future.

Top Local Tips for Rome

Safety in Rome I had read a lot of reviews about personal safety in Rome and I was quiet worried. The Gypsies, pick pockets etc. I have to say we were fine and had nothing stolen. We made sure our day packs were locked and didn’t have anything of value in any accessible unlocked pockets. My camera was in my pocket and tied to the belt loop (bit over the top but I felt better for it). The only place where I saw real concern was at the Termini and when we arrived and departed Rome and had all our stuff with us. You can visibly see them loitering around ready and waiting. But if you walk swiftly and with purpose they didn’t bother us. I wouldn’t hang around the Termini longer than you need to. My partner and I made sure the days when we had packs we just kept an eye on each others pack packs and who was around us. We dodged a few people we though suspicious. We stayed up near Lepanto metro station where we didn’t have any issues at all about safety and very close to the Vatican.

Sights in Rome From this hotel you can walk to all major attractions in central Rome in less than 30 min.

For Culture Vultures Rome is a unique cultural experience. Save your energy for the major sites and the hidden back street gems. You will never ever be able to see everything. Also, the food is amazing. If you want vibrant nightlife, better try Milan (or maybe I missed something?).
