I am a travel agent and have been using the Imperiale for several years...all my clients have loved this hotel and its location...you do it a disservice to print 1 "ugly Americans" bad review.
Stay away from the condescending liars!

I have never been treated so badly in a hotel before, and I have travelled all over the world. (1) be careful when you book online, you search for 2 people, they give you a single, you pay an extra 100euros/night when you get there (2)there is no air conditioning or internet as their website says, in fact their technician manages to set up the little unit to turn into heat every 2 hours (3) there is so much mold on the bathroom walls that everytime you shower, black moudly pieces are falling into the tub, from who knows where (4) and the kicker is the full time service man at the reception who smiles deceivingly as he puts you in the worst room, lies about things getting fixed, talks about you in a language he knows you cannot understand as soon as you turn around.
