For a 3 night stay this was exactly what we were looking for. Our room and bathroom were extremely clean and mantained to this standard every day. We were given our own keys to the building and so were totally independant(no curfew). Although breakfast was by way of a voucher handed in at the bar opposite,this was valid until 10.30 and so there was no early morning rush as is normally the case. Overall an enjoyable stay and we will definately be returning here. I would once again like to take this opportunity to thank all staff at Il Papavero. Ciao !

Having booked and paid the deposit when we arrived at 6pm we were told we would be moved to another hotel 7 mins walk away. We were given a lift, but the hotel was 10 mins drive away at The Piazza Bologna. Not a good start to a 3 day trip.

This was a nice, quiet and clean hotel. The location was ok - close to the main train and subway station Termini. We stayed a week and had no problems at all.

Top Local Tips for Rome

The Steakhouse Within a very short walking distance from the hotel there is a restaurant called The Steakhouse. Great food and prices, but very slow service. The front desk has business card to the Steakhouse. Great value.
