Small and clean hotel...

...however this is not a 4 star rated hotel as per lastminute.com, there was no laundry service or even an iron available. This was apparently due to everyone being on holiday. Frankly there was no assistance in even helping us to locate a laudry service in Rome, we was simply told that it was our tough luck that we came during this period.

Television in room was awful, the reception on most channels was totally unwatchable, and they could not fix this, it was a case of live with it.

Breakfast was simply the worst choice of breakfast available I have ever seen, I have had better service and food at a 1 star hotel.

If you are looking for a great break to Rome, do not stay here unless you want zero service and who knows what else may not be available.

Rooms small, but very clean and updated. Were there for 3 weeks--staff accommodating-very nice breakfasts. Missed the ammenities such as ice machines, snacks, etc.

Top Local Tips for Rome

GETTING AROUND ROME Prior to the trip we purchased on line tickets for the On/Off double decker tour bus. It was very convenient and you receive earphones you can plug in and set for your language. As you pass different sights it gives you an explaination and history about the sight. You can get off anywhere along the way and then pick the bus up again when you're ready to continue your trip/tour. It was definitely a good purchase!

Great Public Transport system... Don't bother with expensive taxis, us the p wioublic transport system which is extreamley user friendly and efficient. It will take you to all the major attractions and cost you next to nothing!

Departing No taxi would take us from Rome to Campino airport. Get a taxi to Termini bus station and then get the airshuttle bus to the airport.
