Wear suitable clothes to visit St Peter's Make sure you wear appropriate clothes as we saw at least one couple who couldn't go in because they hadn't realised how strict they are. It would be a great shame to miss out on going into this incredible building.

Ice cream, drinks, food Don't buy icecream and drinks in city centre or small cafes, they overcharge tourists silly. Instead, find a supermarket and buy drinks and water in advance. In small restaurants, don't seat outside - they seem to charge extra for the priviledge to enjoy the view! (One couple paid 40 Euro for 2 simple plates of pasta!)
