This hotel, is located in the perfect position to see the city of Rome, very close to the station from which everything is easy to get to, The rooms although they didnt look anything like the pictures were spacious and very clean, while we were there there was a taxi strike so we had to stay in the Termini area even at night although this was not ideal it was ok, there was plenty of places to have dinner and drinks which were ok although if you can Piazza novona is the best place to go, this is easily reached by bus from the station if you are ok with coming back earily, we didnt realise this until the last night though which was a pity, All in all the hotel is fine not a palace but this is the centre of Rome and you get what you pay for.

The pictures and facilities listed does not relate to this hotel. Staff were pleasant but hotel is in need of some upgrade. Good central location but keep clear of railway/bus station area at night. All main tourist attractions can be reached easily.

Do not go to this hotel. It is the filthiest place you will ever stay in. It is aslo advertised as a three star when it is really a two star. I would suggest it is nowhere near a one star.

Top Local Tips for Rome

Termini train station If you are travelling to another Italian destitnation via the Eurostar or antoher train, this hotel is two blocs away. But as usual, anything right near a train station is not very desirable, so buyer beware.

Getting Around Go to Rome and you can walk for Miles, for 4 Euro's you can buy a 24 hour ticket for the Metro for as many trips that you can fit in. I rekon you could visit every historic site in Rome within 24 hours without walking miles and miles and miles.................

Touristy activities Rome is not for the frugal. For an American, It is an incredibly expensive place to visit. Take plenty of cash money (not so much credit cards, unlike the U.S.) A simple bottle of water is $3. Take the bus instead of taxi's, that's pretty reasonable. Look out when crossing the street. Schedule more time for Rome than you think - there's so much to see, but also, it's a good place to chill at a sidewalk cafe and people watch. It's a civilized big city and there's no real worries about crime - I've just had heresay about pick-pockets and our maid told us to watch out for them at tourist places. If you can see the Pope (even if you are not Catholic), that's an absolutely electrifying experience. If you pass by a church - any church - go inside even if for just a few moments; they are marvelous works! Must see: Trevi Fountain, St. Peters Basillica, Sistine Chapel. All of the museums at the Vatican can eat up lots of time and begin to become like looking at the same stuff.
