Get your mineral water from Conad There is a 'drugstore' (more like mini market) in the basement of Termini Station named Conad. Get mineral water and snacks from there, it'll saved you some euros to get the fabulous gelato and espresso. The best gelato I tasted in Rome (in fact throughout the whole trip) has to be Ciampini, near Via Del' Corso, most guidebooks features them. The ice cream is sold at the back part of the cafe, I especially liked the lemon flavour gelato.
