bus There is an open top bus for which you can get on and off as much as you like which has a stop within 20 yards. This allows you to tour all around the Rome sights and get off/get on wherever you wish. It also had a plug in audio guide which is free if 2 people travel together.
Day Trip to the Island of Ponza, IT If you're in Rome for more than a few days, then consider a day trip to the Island of Ponza! It's about a 70 minute drive to Anzio and then an 60 minute ferry rise to Ponza wher you can rent a small motor boat for 60 euro and you'll explore the coast line, see amazing cliffs and swim in the most beautiful warm water you could imagine! Google Ponza to learn more about the natural beauty of this island! It's really an amazing place to visit!
taxis and reasturants the taxi drivers are real rip off merchants always ask how much your fair will be first and never accept there first offer aqnd also go to the back street reasturants you get the same product as elsewhere at a quater of the price

We had two rooms booked, second room air conditioning did not work. Asked for an iron, had to take iron and ironing board 5 floors up yourself, hardly 4 star service. Bar was shut on a Sunday, no tea or coffee facilites. The best part was the roof top breakfast room. Breakfast again for a 4 star was poor. Staff however were friendly.
I have stayed in many hotels never bothered to review or complain before but I feel this one is worth mentioning.
